Spotlight: Inconsistent but talented when trained by Harry Eustace; on the up for his new stable, winning 6f handicaps in fine style last November and in February; could well have more to offer on AW but it will require a mighty performance to defy top weight in this field.

Spotlight: Unexposed and progressive handicapper who has two wins and two seconds to his name from four AW appearances; lost little in defeat at Kempton 16 days ago when chasing home a smart rival who was winning the race for the fourth time; a stiff 6f should be fine but stall 1 might not be beneficial given the forecast of a brisk crosswind; stable also runs Ferrous.

Spotlight: Smart form in 2024, including over C&D; only ran once in 2025 and he has finished out of the places in all three starts this year but that doesn't tell the whole story as he made some striking late headway into sixth over C&D in January; he has undergone wind surgery since last seen and now sports a tongue tie; looks on a dangerous mark and could be a major player if he can avoid forfeiting too much ground at the start.

Spotlight: Impressed at Southwell last October when dropped back to 6f; two solid efforts in defeat this year and this stiff test at the trip should be beneficial; shortlisted.

Spotlight: Handicap mark not impossible judged on his C&D win last May off 3lb lower; running okay in defeat this winter and it would be no surprise to see him in the thick of the action.

Spotlight: He was completing a hat-trick when landing the 3yo sprint on this card 12 months ago, a race where he enjoyed a clear run while several in behind met trouble; he hasn't looked ahead of the handicapper in three runs this winter but likely this has been the main target and he has been gelded since his latest run.

Spotlight: Two 6f wins at Kempton this winter and he ran as well as he ever has when a close fourth at Lingfield five weeks ago (behind Ferrous and Lakers); this stiff 6f should suit and he can make another bold bid.

Spotlight: Three-time C&D winner, including this race in 2024 off a 2lb higher mark, and he has shaped well on his last two starts; he will need luck if it gets congested up the stands' rail but too much ability to rule out.
